Reporting to the Grower and Technical Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator plays an important support role in ensuring maintenance activities are organised, communicated and completed effectively. The position works closely with the maintenance team and other operational teams to keep equipment and facilities running smoothly.
The role primarily involves coordinating maintenance tasks, supporting preventative maintenance planning and assisting with contractor scheduling. Hands-on maintenance is also an essential part of the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and site assets using the CMMS system
Manage and track maintenance work orders, including allocation, progress monitoring and completion
Assist with prioritising maintenance tasks and communicating updates to relevant teams
Coordinate responses to equipment breakdowns to help minimise operational disruption
Organise contractors and service providers, including scheduling, site access and documentation
Support the maintenance team by coordinating access to tools, parts and materials required for jobs
Assist with spare parts inventory and procurement of maintenance materials
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within systems
Support safe work practices and compliance with WHS and food safety requirements
Provide hands-on maintenance assistance to get jobs done
We are looking for someone who is organised, practical and enjoys coordinating tasks and people to get work done efficiently.
You will likely have:
Experience in maintenance coordination, facilities support or technical administration
Strong organisation and scheduling skills
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
Good communication skills and ability to work across different teams
Experience using maintenance systems or CMMS platforms (desirable)
A practical mindset and willingness to assist with hands-on tasks
Understanding of WHS and safety practices in an operational environment
This role is Monday - Friday 05:30am - 14:30pm
