Mechanical Fitter

The Role

• Workshop and site-based work across assembly, maintenance, and installs

• Mechanical fitting, machine builds, and component overhauls

• Fault-finding on mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems

• Assist with installation, commissioning, and breakdown support on site

What You’ll Need

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade

• Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and hydraulic systems

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

• Current driver’s licence

• Able to work autonomously and manage service work in the field

• Good communication skills — complete clear service reports and liaise directly with customers on site

• Solid safety focus (WHS compliance, risk assessments, safe work practices)

• Valid Australian work rights

Nice to Have

• Forklift, crane licence and/or White Card

• Restricted electrical licence (disconnect/reconnect)

• Heavy vehicle licence
