An exciting opportunity exists for an exceptional Dental Assistant to join our fast-growing dental clinic in Marsden Park.
The successful applicant will be an experienced dental assistant responsible for delivering exceptional chairside support for dentists and patients. You will be a strong team player, living by the highest quality standards, and ready to grow and learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and supporting your assigned dentist’s day with proactive chairside assisting.
Taking ownership of the clinical room to ensure it’s prepared for procedures and patients, suitably stocked and ready for whatever surprises your day may bring.
Living by the highest standards of infection prevention and control to ensure the safety of patients and each other.
Providing support for patients and finding opportunities to connect with the person in front of you.
Working as a team for the efficient processing, sterilisation and barcode tracking of instruments.
Coordinating and supporting your teammates to help their day run smoothly.
Assistance with reception duties such as making appointments, handling enquiries, processing accounts, recall bookings, TLC calls etc.
Helping to manage stock levels, coordinating external lab work and assisting with in-house lab work.

1+ years’ experience as a dental assistant
Certificate III in dental assisting preferred
Experience with Dental4Windows an advantage.
