deal with complex matters through proven written and verbal communication
skills will augment the team further in its journey of culture and performance . Using your attention to detail, your judgement and initiative
with a solution-based approach to all situations, you will thrive working with the management team on taking on
interesting challenges relating to a broad range of planning issues that
confront metropolitan and  peri-urban areas, whilst being able to think independently and act pragmatically in prioritising complex tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Criteria
<ul>
<li>Tertiary
qualifications in Urban
Planning or equivalent</li>
<li>Demonstrated
extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of complex Development Applications
and experience in negotiating directly with applicants to achieve high quality
planning outcomes.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and judgment in planning
concepts with demonstrated experience in working independently</li>
<li>Demonstrated
experience in Land and Environment
Court of NSW Practices and
Procedures</li>
<li>Highly developed skills in effective
communication, report writing skills and oral communication.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in business
improvement initiatives in the Development Assessment context</li>
<li>Experience in mentoring staff, conflict
resolution and negotiation.</li>
<li>The right to live and work in Australia</li>
<li>Class C Drivers Licence</li>
<li>WHS General Construction Work in NSW</li>
<li>Working with Children Check (WWCC)</li>
<li>Successful applicants will be required to
undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration</li>
