Are you a hands-on, practical person who enjoys working outdoors, fixing things, and keeping properties looking their best?

Regal Mushrooms is looking for a Property Caretaker to maintain and improve our operational facilities, surrounding properties, and gardens. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a varied day, from maintenance and landscaping to small projects and caring for animals.

You will play an important role in ensuring our property, assets and grounds are maintained to a high standard while supporting our team.

About the Role

Reporting to both the owner and CEO, this role is responsible for maintaining property infrastructure, grounds, and equipment while ensuring the site remains safe, tidy and functional.

This is a hands on role suited to someone practical, reliable and proactive who takes pride in maintaining property and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ongoing maintenance and care of the property and grounds

  • Garden maintenance, mowing, weeding and landscaping

  • General repairs and handyman tasks across company and personal properties

  • Small building and improvement projects

  • Maintenance of exterior facilities and roof inspections

  • Fence construction and repairs

  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of exterior areas

  • Care for small cattle herd

  • Operation of farm machinery and equipment

  • Coordinating spent compost sales and collections

  • Removing rubbish and maintaining tidy premises

  • Proactively identifying areas requiring maintenance or improvement

  • Applying a “fix as you go” approach to property upkeep

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, self-motivated and enjoys a diverse role.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in a similar role (property maintenance, farming, landscaping or handyman work)

  • Experience operating farm equipment such as tractors, front end loaders, forklifts, mowers or small excavators

  • General building and maintenance skills

  • Experience with livestock (especially cattle) highly regarded

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Excellent time management and organisation

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Pride in delivering quality workmanship

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm.
