This is an opportunity for career development into procurement, sourcing or category management

Join a fast-paced Procurement team managing the end-to-end purchasing of a diverse range of goods and services for the AIR6500 Program. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you'll source quotes, raise purchase orders, track deliveries and ensure business needs are met on time.

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement activities by acting as a key interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Prepare and manage RFQs, purchase orders and delivery activities.

  • Procure a broad range of goods and services including IT hardware and software, professional services, capital equipment, consumables, electronics, machinery and tools.

  • Process purchase requisitions of varying complexity.

  • Maintain accurate and auditable procurement records.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing efficiency.

  • Contribute to process and systems improvement initiatives.

  • Support administrative activities across the Procurement team.

  • Ensure compliance with Lockheed Martin procurement policies and procedures.

  • Utiliye business systems and standard desktop applications to support procurement activities.

 Essential

  • Demonstrable experience in a purchasing function.

  • Demonstrable experience working in a high paced work environment

  • Knowledge of standard purchasing practices

 Desirable

  • Skills and knowledge in the use of the Microsoft suite, including collaboration tools.

  • Data Analytics and visualisation
