We are looking for a Facilities Assistant with a hands-on approach and attention to detail, who contributes to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the workplace.

About the Role:
The Facilities Assistant ensures that all areas are properly maintained, equipment is functioning, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld across the site.

What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for the general organization and maintenance of the yard.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment, chemical handling, and waste processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure effective waste management from inception to final disposal, including collection, transport, treatment, and disposal.
  • Perform routine and unplanned maintenance as required.
  • Ensure all work is scheduled, planned, and carried out in a manner that minimizes or eliminates disruption.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility.

What You Bring:
  • Demonstrated understanding of general building and facilities services and related trades.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
